Gill and I decided to test Eoghan's detox diet by letting him "tox" and have one cookie (or "biscuit"). I think between the two of us, we've decided no more sweets for him. Wow- he's a completely different kid when he has sugar in his system (much like myself although in a different way..!) He was a wild child today and really wore on both of our nerves. I do have a cute video of Eoghan strangling a kitten that I'm going to try to post though. Hopefully this will work.. Consider yourselves lucky for me not filming the "wingeing" (as they like to call it).
Everyone has been talking about the "Rose of Tralee", which is similar to an Irish Miss America. Americans actually can enter the pageant if they have any Irish blood. Gill's trying to convince me to be Miss Washington D.C. for next year (sadly there's no Miss VA). Don't think I have enough Irish in my blood or interest in my heart to qualify me. How devastating. It is a little less about beauty than American pageants though. I like it in that respect.
Kieran's uncle came out of his coma today which was great news. They didn't expect him to live through this past weekend, but now he is breathing on his own and talking. Its really a miracle. Now that he's better things should settle down a little more. It really hasn't caused too much of an issue in my eyes, besides having to watch the kids on my own for a few nights.
Today when I was watching Katie and Eoghan by myself, we saw a really strange looking animal in their yard. Eoghan wanted to name it Eoghan/Owen. To me it looked like a mix between a hedgehog, a badger, an anteater, and a groundhog. It was weird looking. I took a picture and will post that as well. If anyone has any idea what it is, let me know..
Page! That video is hilarious! I love it. We have some funny pictures of olly doing the same thing at my uncle's farm! xo
