I tried posting a video yesterday but it kept cutting me off. I have a video of Eoghan explaining whats going to happen over the next few weeks...
1. I leave for 'Americamp' on MONDAY
2. I will 'collect' Taylor and bring her back in my suitcase (Eoghan INSISTS that I should put her in the seat next to me, but I'm trying to convince him that the suitcase is a better idea..)
3. We will pack snacks for Taylor in the suitcase so she doesn't go hungry
4. I will bring Taylor to Killavullen to play with Eoghan!
He asks every day 'Is Taylor coming today?' I guess it will be a newsflash when I leave for two weeks and thennnn bring her here.
Yesterday, I took Eoghan and Katie down to the small (FREEZING COLD) stream at the end of their road. Its hard to get to the stream with the 'buggy' (stroller), so this was our first time trying it out- now that Katie is steady on her feet. Katie was decked out in her hand-me-down John Deere wellies and Eoghan was wearing his fire engine ones. Eoghan learned how some things float, while others sink. It was great to see him notice that on his own.
As we were walking back up the road, Eoghan saw some trash on the side of the road. He said to me, 'Tiger Wood has been a bold boy again!' I can't remember if I wrote about this a few weeks ago, but Gillian named notorious celebrities as the 'bold boys' that have littered on their road. I thought it was so funny that he actually semi-remembered one of the names (somewhere along the lines, Woods lost its 's').
It is so hard for me to believe that I will be home in FOUR days! I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it. Luckily, since I'm coming back in two weeks, I don't have to be the least bit sad (yet) about living. I am purely excited to come home and see everyone. I guarantee you I will be in complete culture shock after living in the quiet countryside for nine months, but if I got used to this lifestyle, I know I'll be able to readjust no problem.
