Lighting in Mallow

Tonight we headed into Mallow to see the Christmas lights turned on. Let me preface this story by saying that it was no where NEAR as exciting as Lighting of the Lawn (or the Christmas lights at Newport News Park for that matter). It was chaotic though with hundreds of kids running around! Stores in Market Square were passing out little goodies (small chocolate bars, balloons, pixie sticks, free lattes, etc.). The kids loved it!

Santa also made an appearance (he took a break during his busiest time of year to visit the small town of Mallow!!). When we got home, Eoghan started crying when Kieran was lighting the fire because he was afraid Santa might come. I thought that was so sweet!
